Leguminosae. Zones 9-11. Possibly the most beautiful vine out there. The pea-like foliage is totally eclipsed by the intensely blue-violet blossoms, which are a true double, giving a rose-like effect. Killed back close to the ground by frost, but will return in warmer temperatures in zones 9 and warmer. Seeds freely and the seeds should be collected for next year's crop in colder climates. We suspect that this plant will bloom year round indoors. Strong indirect light indoors and out will suit this plant perfectly.
