Populaceae. Zones 4-10. What a wonderful surprise to find that this beautiful shrubby tree will actually grow in Southwest Florida! Long, blue-gray linear foliage lends itself to a graceful appearance. Like most willows, the blooms are insignificant, but not unattractive. Our parent tree in Virginia grew to about 12 feet tall and as wide in about six years. A wonderful small tree which deserves more recogntion in southern gardens. Sun, average soil.
