Petromarula pinnata (No Common Name) Incredibly beautiful Campanula relative from Crete. We acquired this plant for the first time in 1998. Our stock is just now getting ready to bloom in February 2000. Evergreen, shiny, parsley-like foliage forms an attractive rosette with the bloom spike of pale lavender, wide-open bells emanating from the center to about 18 inches. The plant in the photographs was purchased by Fran O'Donoghue of Hampton, Virginia in January 1999. She has grown it in a pot, first outdoors and then in a sunroom. We were as excited as she was to see the stunning, waxy blooms. These photographs were taken by Stacy Whiting of 9 East Photo Studio in Hampton, Virginia. We believe Petromarula pinnata to be hardy to Zone 7. We hope to have this plant available for sale in Spring 2001.
